Informal meeting 2025-07-01 (including poll for next meeting)

Time: 19:00
Present: waffle, aqeel, kawaiipunk

Minutes from the last meeting were lost due to RiseUp pad expiring.

We should put them on the forum.

Decisions made on the forum: Proposal: Co-op Brum Decision Making Process

Was a structure in the old days: Organisational structure: open discussion - #7 by Sergio

four tier membership: Passed: adopt a four level organisation model - #7 by ben.

This doesn’t seem to be functional in practice.

financial independence of sub-groups - require a discussion on how this should work (eg. should punch up have financial independence? should they pay subs to co-op brum? etc)

Agenda for next meeting

Coming up with agenda points

governance structure - constitution, terms of reference, accountability process etc
infrastructure - central place to store minutes, documents, media etc
updates from sub-groups

Coop Brum structure

Working group to make a proposal on a resiliant structure in order to do anything larger or more public facing events.

We need stucture to allow for expansion.

Building the brand and making the sub projects seem a clear part of CB.

Consitution

Logo/branding

Clear intentions

GreatHR: https://radhr.org/

Punch Up to become sub project and make a proposal to take x amount of money into it?

Memebership review

How many paying members?

How to organise meeting

@ben had a point in another thread about Punch Up:
