there are two acoustic bullit cargo bikes which originally belonged to a bike project at UoB some of us (@Nick Cooke and I) were involved in. The co-op finished and since then there has been no clear owner - they were previously at the student housing co-op but reclaimed as they were not in use. Now Tom wragg from SCD has one (he invested some of his own cash into an attempt to turn it into an e-bike - battery had a fault) - which will move to SCD and there is another in my garage which will also move to SCD.
I want to propose that at least the blue one gets owned by coopbrum. The reason for this is that they are often used by different people - in the past my house paid for repairs as we used it for a weekly shop, but now we can’t fit it in our garden we can’t use it for that. I want other people to continue to have access, but don’t want to have to pay for all the repairs myself - and largely use Bike Foundry’s electric bullit which I have access to when I need one.
At the moment the bike is unlocked and stored in my garage in Harvest close Stirchley. I think we should also get it a dedicated lock for people to use when they are out and about. There is a key to access it with me, mani, and one in Birmingham Bike Foundry (can borrow this during opening hours).
Currently it has around £80 of repairs due and a lock would be £30 ish quid.
