Community preparedness for Brexit food shortages

btw, now would be a very good time to start stocking up on food.

Ordering longer shelf life products during this period, such as frozen foods or foods that can be safely stored at room temperature

This the gov advisory for schools and colleges to stock up on food in case of shortages due to Brexit. I would recommend to make sure we all have at least one month of surplus dry/tinned food always. I also recommend to buy buy lots of frozen fruit because most fruit is grown in Europe.

Best technique is just to buy a tiny bit extra each week. Maybe an extra tin or two and some dried food. After two months you will have significant surplus.

thanks prepper leo  maybe we should start planning some growing aswell?!
